???? About the Role
We are a growing fashion e-commerce business working closely with international suppliers.
To keep our operations running smoothly, we are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Supplier & Quality Control Assistant.
This role is very important to our business. Suppliers sometimes make mistakes, and your job is to catch these early, communicate clearly, and help maintain product quality and healthy margins.
We are looking for someone we can trust, who works accurately, and who communicates clearly and professionally in English.
????? Main Responsibilities
1. Supplier Bill & Price Control
Check supplier bills and invoices carefully
Verify that supplier prices match the agreed prices
Identify discrepancies and discuss them clearly with suppliers
Calculate and monitor COGS (Cost of Goods Sold)
If COGS exceeds 30–35%, negotiate with suppliers to reduce costs without lowering product quality
2. Supplier Communication & Product Sourcing
Communicate daily with suppliers in English
If a product is out of stock, source the same or similar product using the 1688 Chrome extension
Share alternative product links with suppliers for approval
Understand that sourcing from different warehouses can affect quality and discuss this carefully with suppliers
3. Quality Control
Monitor product performance
If a product sells 3+ times in a short period, request a quality check from the supplier
Ask for:
Clear product photos
Videos (if available)
Size charts
Check:
Product quality
Whether the size chart matches the website
If quality looks poor:
Discuss internally first
If there is potential, ask suppliers if a higher-quality version is available
4. Order & Shipping Monitoring
Check whether orders are shipped on time
Follow up with suppliers if delays occur
5. Administration & Tracking
Maintain clear Google Sheets / Excel sheets for:
Supplier bills
Price checks
COGS
Quality checks
Keep records organised so issues can be reviewed later
6. Shopify Support (Required)
Basic understanding of Shopify
Check orders, product details, and pricing when needed
7. Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Customer service experience (replying to

Suppliers usually start responding around 3:00 AM Netherlands time
? This is 9:00 AM Philippine time
Working hours are flexible
Usually 2–3 hours per day
Depends on supplier communication and ongoing issues
There may be waiting time between supplier replies — flexibility is important

USD $3.50 per hour (starter rate)
Salary will increase if:
