JOB OVERVIEW

CONTEXT
Why This Role Exists
Google Merchant Center is a critical dependency for ecommerce growth through Google Ads.
Advanced feed optimization, policy compliance, and account health are not optional. When this breaks, revenue stops.
This role exists to own Merchant Center performance end to end. That includes feeds, diagnostics, policy issues, suspensions, and coordination across Google Ads teams, Google reps, and clients.
This is not a basic setup role. This is a specialist role focused on risk reduction, performance leverage, and operational clarity.

What Success Looks Like
Account Health
Clean Merchant Center diagnostics with minimal warnings
Fast resolution of policy issues and disapprovals
Successful reinstatement of suspended accounts when issues arise
Performance Enablement
Optimized feeds that improve product visibility and match quality
Strong alignment between feeds and Google Ads campaign structure
Fewer performance bottlenecks caused by data or policy issues
Communication
Clear, confident communication with clients during sensitive issues
Effective coordination with Google Ads reps and policy teams
No confusion about ownership or next steps
Success is measured by stability, resolution speed, and performance lift, not task volume.
