JOB OVERVIEW

Corporate Signs Inc. is a state-licensed electrical sign company specializing in commercial sign installations, permitting, project coordination, and multi-city rollout programs for national and regional brands. We work closely with general contractors, property managers, developers, and other sign companies to deliver compliant, on-time signage solutions across Florida and beyond.
We are growing and seeking a highly organized, proactive Virtual Sales & Business Development Assistant to support lead generation, cold outreach, relationship building, and ongoing sales operations.
Position Overview
This is a long-term remote position combining lead research, outbound sales, relationship management, and CRM/database building.
You will spend part of your time actively contacting potential clients and partner sign companies, and the rest building and maintaining a high-quality sales database, managing follow-ups, and supporting marketing and outreach initiatives.
This role offers a base pay plus commission structure with strong upside for high performers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Generation
Research and build targeted lead lists (general contractors, developers, property managers, retailers, sign companies, franchises)
Make outbound cold calls and follow-up calls to prospective clients and partner companies
Introduce Corporate Signs Inc. services and qualify opportunities
Establish and maintain relationships with:
Other sign companies (for subcontract / overflow work)
Construction firms and project managers
Property management companies and developers
Database & CRM Management
Build and maintain a structured lead and client database
Track outreach, call notes, follow-ups, and deal status
Organize contacts by market, industry, and project type
Maintain clean and accurate records for reporting and pipeline tracking
Sales Support & Project Coordination
Assist with preparing proposals, introductions, and follow-up communications
Coordinate initial project information between sales and project management teams
Track active opportunities and upcoming bids
Marketing & Outreach Support
Assist with basic marketing materials using Canva (intro decks, one-pagers, email templates)
Support email outreach campaigns and LinkedIn messaging
Help research new markets, developments, and construction projects
Technology & AI Tools
Use CRM systems, spreadsheets, and sales tracking tools
Leverage AI tools for research, lead qualification, email drafting, and workflow automation
Required Qualifications
Experience in sales, lead generation, or business development (B2B preferred)
Comfortable making cold calls and speaking with business owners, project managers, and contractors
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with:
Construction or signage industry (preferred but not required)
Project management concepts
CRM systems and sales pipelines
Technical Skills
Excellent English communication (spoken and written)
Proficient with Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
Experience with Canva for basic marketing materials
Comfortable learning and using AI tools and sales automation tools
Compensation
Base hourly or monthly pay (depending on experience and availability)
Commission on closed deals and qualified projects
Performance bonuses for consistent lead generation and pipeline growth
This role has strong growth potential into a senior sales coordinator or account manager position.
Schedule
Flexible remote schedule
Part-time to full-time (to be discussed)
Availability during U.S. business hours preferred
