Blissbook is seeking a Sync Support Specialist to help customers set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve employee data syncing between their systems and Blissbook. This role sits between customer success and engineering and is part of our engineering team.
Who We Are
Our mission is to enable creativity and allow people to express themselves, particularly in situations where it’s difficult to do so.
This mission has driven us to create Blissbook, a content management system for employee handbooks and top-down communication (policies, etc.). We help HR teams deliver premium handbook & policy experiences and are building an ecosystem that brings people (HR, legal, managers, HRBPs, leadership, marketing, employees) together with AI to create, distribute, and consume top-down communication content.
We’re a bootstrapped, growing team of ~15, working remotely. For more, read our about page (
Who You Are

You:
- Are excited to work in a lively startup environment where not everything is figured out.

- Can communicate clearly, directly, and efficiently via
- Can organize and follow a problem across systems and conversations until it’s resolved.
- Have the initiative and curiosity to work through challenges and questions independently, but know how and when to ask for help.
- Have references who will tell us (A) that you’re a treat to work with; and (B) how great your communication skills are.
- Big plusses: experience supporting integrations or data pipelines; experience working with
What You’ll Do
You’ll own employee sync projects and issues end to end, from initial setup and customer onboarding through troubleshooting, resolution, and long-term improvement. This includes:
- Guiding customers who are setting up new syncs.
- Troubleshooting and resolving all issues/projects related to syncs not working as expected.
- Communicating with customers via
- Escalating major technical issues to our engineering team.
- Maintaining and updating customer help resources.
- Improving internal documentation, help articles, and troubleshooting playbooks as patterns emerge.
- Identifying opportunities to reduce repeat issues through better tooling, automation, or process improvements.
While your primary focus will be employee syncs, your role should expand over time as you learn our systems and build trust. There will be opportunities to take on additional technical projects and expand your impact across engineering and operations.
What You’ll Get
You’ll be an early employee working in a lively environment with friendly customers who love our product and are understanding, kind people. You’ll get:
- A supportive, results-oriented work environment with the tools you need to succeed.
- A competitive salary.
- Unbounded growth opportunities at a small growing company where your contributions make a real difference.
- To work with driven, motivated, fun, PEACH-E people.
- A balanced work environment so you can be your best self while you’re working.
