JOB OVERVIEW

Hi! I’m looking for a creative, reliable, and TikTok-native video editor to help me trim, polish, and repurpose my talking videos for TikTok Shop. This role is a great fit if you love crafting short-form, product-focused content that performs — especially in the beauty and skincare space.

???? What I Need:
• Strong editor who can trim longer clips down to 25–60 seconds
• Must know how to find scroll-stopping hooks from the footage — even if it means creatively combining a visually interesting clip with strong audio from a different ---------- nt
• Comfortable cutting creatively to make the opening hook stand out — whether that’s through visuals, pacing, or camera movement
• Text overlays are optional — totally up to your style. If you like using them, great! If not, that’s completely fine too
• Comfortable working with 3–20 minutes of footage per product
• Able to cut multiple edits out of a single recording
• Bonus if you’re familiar with TikTok trends, sounds, and product demos

• Editing talking-head videos (especially product-focused or UGC)
• Comfortable pulling the best takes and making them flow naturally
• TikTok or Reels editing background a plus
• Familiarity with TikTok Shop is a big bonus

?? Please note: My content is primarily focused on beauty and skincare, with occasional wellness and lifestyle topics.

???? Turnaround Expectations:

I know freelance schedules can vary, but ideally I prefer a turnaround time of 2–7 days per video.
If we end up working on a higher volume of content together and things get busy, I’m totally open to discussing timing — communication is key. I just ask that we avoid any edits going beyond that window unless previously agreed on.
