About the Role
We’re hiring a detail-oriented ICD-10 Coder and OASIS Auditor to support U.S. home health documentation quality, coding accuracy, and compliance. You’ll review clinical records and OASIS assessments, ensure ICD-10 coding integrity, and work across multiple EMRs while maintaining strict HIPAA standards.

Key Responsibilities
• ICD-10 Coding (Home Health):
• Assign and validate ICD-10-CM codes based on clinical documentation
• Ensure coding supports accuracy, compliance, and payer requirements
• Identify documentation gaps and request clarifications when needed
• OASIS Auditing / QA:
• Audit OASIS assessments for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance
• Flag errors, inconsistencies, and missed opportunities for correction
• Provide clear feedback to clinicians / internal team on required updates
• EMR Documentation Review:
• Navigate and work efficiently across multiple home health EMRs
• Extract, review, and reconcile documentation across visits, notes, and assessments
• Maintain organized audit trails and QA notes per internal process
• Compliance & Security:
• Handle PHI securely and follow HIPAA policies and internal security procedures
• Maintain confidentiality and follow access controls and secure workflows
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience in U.S. Home Health documentation workflows
• Strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding (home health context)
• Hands-on experience with OASIS auditing / review (OASIS-E familiarity a plus)
• Comfortable working across multiple EMRs (home health systems)
• Excellent written and spoken English
• High attention to detail, strong judgment, and consistent reliability
• Ability to work U.S. time zone hours (e.g., Eastern/Central/Pacific—aligned with U.S. business day)
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
• Formal coding credential(s) (e.g., AAPC/AHIMA) or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting QA programs, documentation improvement, or revenue integrity
• Familiarity with common home health EMRs (any major platforms is helpful)
