We are seeking a confident, results-driven Life Insurance Appointment Setter / Cold Calling Virtual Assistant to handle outbound lead dialing, prospect qualification, and appointment setting for licensed life insurance agents. This role is strictly focused on calling leads, engaging prospects, overcoming objections, and booking appointments.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Calling & Lead Dialing
• Make high-volume outbound calls to warm and cold insurance leads
• Follow approved call scripts while maintaining a natural, conversational tone
• Qualify prospects based on age, income, family needs, and interest
• Handle objections professionally and confidently
• Build rapport and maintain positive client interactions
• Schedule qualified prospects for phone or Zoom appointments
• Confirm appointment details and ensure calendar accuracy
• Send appointment confirmations and reminders via SMS or
• Reduce no-shows through effective follow-up
• Accurately update CRM with call outcomes and notes
• Track daily call volume, contact rate, and appointment metrics
• Maintain clean, compliant, and organized lead records
• Conduct follow-up calls on unresponsive or previously contacted leads
• Re-engage old leads and nurture long-term prospects
• Reschedule missed or canceled appointments
Qualifications & Skills
• Strong spoken English with a confident phone presence
• Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or appointment setting
• Comfortable making 100+ outbound calls per day
• Ability to handle rejection and objections professionally
• Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment
• CRM and dialer experience
• Experience in life insurance
• Familiarity with auto-dialers and power dialers
• Experience working with U.S. clients and time zones
• Understanding of basic insurance terminology
• Prior call-center or virtual sales experience
• Auto-dialers / power dialers
