JOB OVERVIEW

Turning Live Conversations Into Stories People Carry With Them

This isn’t a “run our socials” job.
We’re looking for a Social Media Storyteller, someone who can watch a live conversation unfold and instantly recognize the ---------- nt, the meaning, and the story worth sharing.

You won’t just post content.
You’ll shape how the show lives beyond the live ---------- nt.

About the Show
Mornings in the Lab is a daily live morning show built on real conversations, curiosity, accountability, and growth.

We don’t chase clicks.
We don’t manufacture outrage.
We don’t post just to stay “active.”

We create ---------- nts that help people start their day thinking better, feeling sharper, and showing up more honestly—and then we translate those ---------- nts into stories that move across social platforms with intention.

What You’ll Actually Do
You’ll work closely with the host and production team to turn live conversations into social stories that matter.

That includes:
- Identifying story-worthy ---------- nts during and after live shows
- Turning raw conversations into short-form narratives for social platforms
- Writing captions and context that add meaning, not noise
- Shaping monologues, clips, and quotes into stories people recognize themselves in
- Helping d ---------- what gets shared, what gets held, and what gets reframed
- Maintaining story threads, themes, and ongoing narratives inside Notion
- Collaborating in real time—sometimes during live ---------- nts, sometimes in post-show reflection

This is not about volume.
It’s about judgment, taste, and storytelling instinct.

Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)

- Clear, confident communication in English
- You’ll be collaborating daily with hosts and producers. Precision and nuance matter.

- Strong working knowledge of Notion
- You’ll use it to track story arcs, clip ideas, captions, themes, and ongoing narratives.

- Comfort in a live, imperfect, high-trust environment
- Conversations are real.
- ---------- nts are human.

You know how to work with that—not polish it away.

Who This Role Is Really For

You’re a great fit if:
- You think in ---------- nts and meaning, not just posts
- You can watch a conversation and instantly feel “that’s the clip”
- You understand pacing, emotional payoff, and when to let something breathe
- You’re curious about people—not just trends or algorithms
- You know social media is about context, not just content
- You’re steady when things move fast and thoughtful when things slow down

Journalists, social-first storytellers, documentary lovers, podcasters, former creatives, and meaning-makers—you’ll feel at home here.

What This Is Not
- Not social media management for the sake of posting
- Not SEO-driven caption writing
- Not trend-chasing or ---------- farming
- Not a role obsessed with perfection over truth

The Vibe
- High trust.
- High ownership.
- Low ego.
- Real conversations.
- Room to grow as the show—and its social presence—evolves.

How to Apply
Skip the generic résumé.

Instead:
- Tell us why our show resonates with you (Mornings in the Lab with Keith, Jon and Friends on YouTube)
- Share one social story (post, thread, clip, caption, or narrative breakdown) that shows how you think
- If you don’t have a formal “social media storyteller” title but know this is your lane—say that

Bonus: briefly explain how you use Notion to manage creative or social storytelling workflows

If you’re someone who knows that the *real work* happens after the live ---------- nt—
and you’re excited to help those ---------- nts travel—
we should talk.

---

If you want, next we can:

* Tighten this for LinkedIn vs a careers page
* Add platform focus (IG, LinkedIn, X, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
* Or raise/lower the seniority signal depending on who you want to attract
