Our company is a growing Australian Managed Service Provider delivering comprehensive IT solutions to businesses across Australia. We're seeking an experienced Senior IT Technician to join our tight-knit technical team and provide exceptional support to our diverse client base.
Position Overview
Location: Remote (Philippines-based)
Work Hours: Australian Eastern Time (AEST/AEDT) - UTC+10/+11 (Manila +2 hours)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
• Provide advanced technical support for Windows Server 2022 environments across multiple client sites
• Manage and maintain Active Directory and Azure AD infrastructure
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure cloud services and hybrid environments
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, firewalls, and security systems
• Support and manage VoIP systems, particularly 3CX phone platforms
• Perform remote server administration and RDP session management
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across on-premise and cloud platforms
• Document technical procedures and maintain client IT documentation
• Work independently while collaborating with our Australian-based team
Essential Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise:
• 5+ years experience in MSP or enterprise IT environments
• Expert knowledge of Windows Server 2022 administration
• Strong experience with Active Directory and Azure AD (hybrid environments)
• Proven Azure cloud experience (Virtual Machines, networking, security)
• Advanced Microsoft 365 administration skills
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with VoIP systems, specifically 3CX
• Experience with RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management) tools
Professional Qualities:
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Client-focused mindset with professional customer service skills
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Comfortable working Australian business hours (Manila time +2 hours)
Desirable Skills
• Experience with other MSP tools and ticketing systems
• Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery
• Familiarity with network security and
• Understanding of compliance and IT security frameworks
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, batch files)
