JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring an experienced SEO Specialist to take full ownership of SEO and AI Engine Optimisation (AEO) for our UK-based e-commerce website, Food For Foodies ( ---------- ).
This is a practical, execution-focused role. You will be responsible for analysing, implementing, testing, and improving SEO changes yourself. This role is not advisory or strategy-only.

Core Responsibilities
Fully audit, edit, and optimise product pages, collections, and site structure
Directly implement on-page SEO improvements, including content, metadata, headings, and internal linking
Apply AI Engine Optimisation (AEO) techniques to improve visibility in AI-driven search results
Optimise pages based on search intent, not just keywords
Continuously update SEO work in line with current algorithm and industry trends
Optimise new product uploads end-to-end
Track performance and refine changes based on results
Identify relevant online communities and social groups that align with our customer base

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
Proven hands-on SEO implementation experience (not audits only)
Strong e-commerce SEO background
Experience working directly in Shopify
Clear understanding of AI-driven search behaviour
Ability to work independently and take ownership
