About the Business

I run a premium dog boarding business (Happy Dogs Maui) and an online education brand (Happy Dogs Academy) focused on calm, fear-free, structured dog training.

I am looking for a capable, grounded marketing VA who can both execute and contribute real thinking around:

Facebook/Instagram ads
Funnel structure

Email list growth
GoHighLevel implementation

This role is ideal for someone who is beyond basic VA work

This role is for you if you:
Understand how Meta ads + funnels actually work together
Can propose a plan and explain your reasoning
Follow instructions precisely once direction is set
Ask clarifying questions before executing
Are comfortable being accountable for results, not just tasks

This role is not for someone who:
Only knows theory but can’t execute
Wants full creative control
Ignores brand guidelines
Needs daily hand-holding

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
1?? Meta Ads & Funnel Strategy (Core)
Propose simple, realistic Meta ad strategies
Recommend:
campaign structure
audiences
budget ranges
testing approach
Explain why a funnel is structured a certain way
Improve funnels over time based on performance
You do not need to be a senior media buyer — but you must understand the basics deeply.

2?? GoHighLevel Funnel & Automation Execution
Build and edit funnels in GoHighLevel
Set up:
opt-in pages

email sequences
tags & triggers
simple automations
QA links, forms, and flows
Keep things clean, organized, and documented

3?? Social Media
Repurpose existing content for ads and organic
Draft captions aligned with brand voice
Support ad creatives
Schedule content when needed

Tools You Must Be Comfortable With:
- Required:
Meta Ads Manager (hands-on experience)
GoHighLevel (funnels + automations)
Google Docs & Drive (working inside shared docs)
- Nice to Have:
Canva

Email marketing psychology
Basic analytics / reporting

Trial Period (Non-Negotiable):
Shortlisted candidates will complete a paid test project, such as:
Auditing an existing funnel and proposing improvements
Mapping a simple Meta ads ? opt-in ? email flow
Setting up part of a GoHighLevel automation
This ensures real-world alignment before scaling.

Hours & Compensation:
Part Time / Amount of Hours we agree on
