JOB OVERVIEW

Join Easydwell: Contribute to Innovative Homeownership Solutions

Easydwell is a rapidly expanding real estate fund dedicated to redefining access to and management of homeownership. We seek a meticulous and analytical Underwriter who excels in critical thinking, precision, and sound decision-making.

Ideal candidates possess a strong aptitude for quantitative analysis, challenge assumptions, and demonstrate a commitment to uncovering insights through comprehensive data review. If you have a disciplined underwriting approach and aspire to take ownership in a dynamic, high-growth setting, this role may be well-suited for you.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
You will be responsible for safeguarding portfolio integrity by conducting risk evaluations with accuracy, consistency, and sound judgment.
- Property Valuation & Market Analysis
Perform and interpret comparative market analyses (comps) to determine realistic property values and identify market trends.
- Risk Assessment
Review applicant financials, credit reports, and property-level data to evaluate overall risk exposure.
- Underwriting Decisions
Deliver informed recommendations to approve, decline, or counter applications in accordance with Easydwell’s established underwriting standards.
- Documentation Review & Verification
Cross-check all submitted documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance, identifying red flags or discrepancies when present.
- Clear Internal Communication
Prepare concise, professionally written reports detailing underwriting decisions and rationale for internal stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For
This position is ideal for analytical professionals who prioritize precision, accountability, and uphold high standards.
- Strong Numerical & Analytical Skills
Exceptional comfort working with financial data, identifying patterns, and drawing defensible conclusions.
- Advanced Excel Proficiency
Confident using formulas, structured models, and data organization to support underwriting decisions.
- Real Estate Valuation Experience (Preferred)
Prior experience running comps and evaluating property values in real estate or related markets is strongly preferred.
- Relevant Background
Experience in underwriting—within real estate, mortgage, or financial services—is preferred. Candidates with robust finance or analytical backgrounds and demonstrated learning agility will also be considered.
- Excellent English Communication
Clear, professional written and verbal communication is essential, including strong pronunciation for effective collaboration with global teams.
