We are a well-established home remodeling company seeking an experienced SEO-focused Virtual Assistant who understands how to rank local home service businesses on Google’s first page through organic SEO strategies.
This is not a beginner role. We are looking for someone who has proven experience in home services SEO (remodeling, construction, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and knows how to execute—not just advise.

Responsibilities
• Optimize WordPress-based website(s) for SEO performance
• Implement and manage Local SEO strategies to improve Google Maps & organic rankings
• Optimize:
• On-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking)
• Service pages (city + service targeting)
• Blog content for SEO intent and authority
• Perform keyword research specific to home remodeling & home services
• Improve site structure, page speed, and mobile SEO best practices
• Optimize Google Business Profile (GBP):
• Categories, descriptions, services, photos
• Local citation consistency (NAP)
• Track rankings and provide clear reporting (rankings, traffic, conversions)
• Identify and fix SEO issues (indexing, crawl errors, cannibalization, etc.)
• Collaborate with owner to prioritize SEO actions that drive real leads, not vanity metrics

Required Experience
? Proven SEO experience in the home services industry
? Strong Local SEO expertise (Google Maps + organic)
? WordPress experience (Elementor a plus)
? Deep understanding of:
• Google ranking factors
• Search intent for service-based businesses
• Local keyword targeting (city / service combinations)
• Internal linking & site architecture
• SEO content optimization

Tools You Should Be Comfortable With
• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics (GA4)
• SEO tools
• Google Business Profile
• WordPress backend
• Basic HTML / schema familiarity (bonus)

Nice to Have (Not Required, But a Plus)
• Experience ranking remodeling, construction, or contractor websites
• Knowledge of:
• Service-area businesses (SABs) a plus
• Review optimization strategies
• Local link-building or citations
• Understanding of conversion-focused SEO (calls & form fills)
