About Us:
At KR Media, we don’t just showcase spaces; we capture the experiences that make them unforgettable, and we’re looking for a photo editor who can do the same with their editing magic.
What We’re Looking For:
We need a top-tier editor who’s got serious chops in both real estate bracket blending and editorial Airbnb-style editing. In other words, someone who’s equally comfortable merging multiple exposures for a perfect MLS photo as they are crafting a single-exposure, and a combination of both for that editorial style photo that’s all about lighting and masking.
What You’ll Do:
* Edit real estate photos using multiple exposures (typically three brackets) to produce stunning, accurate interiors and exteriors
* Work on Airbnb/editorial photography, using single exposures and applying advanced Photoshop and Lightroom techniques to shape lighting, mask areas, and create that editorial polish.
* Participate in ongoing training sessions via video calls where we’ll walk you through our unique editing styles like our signature twilight hero shots so you can eventually take the lead on them.
Skills & Experience:
* Extensive experience (at least 3-5+ years) with both Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom in the context of real estate and Airbnb photography.
* A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning images.
Show Us Your Work:
We’d love to see examples of both your bracketed MLS-style edits and your editorial Airbnb work. If you’re not sure of the difference, that’s probably a sign this role might not be the best fit.

Test Edit Instructions:
As part of your application, we ask you to complete a brief test edit. This will help us see your editing skills in action and ensure you’re a great fit for the kind of work we do.
What to Do:
Download the Test Files: Follow this link below to download the sample images. You’ll find two sets of photos: one set of bracketed exposures for a real estate interior and one single-exposure photo for an Airbnb-style editorial edit.
Real Estate Edit (MLS Style):
Use the bracketed set of images to create a clean, professional interior shot. Pay attention to verticals, color accuracy, and natural lighting. We’re looking for a polished, realistic final image that’s typical for real estate listings.
Airbnb/Editorial Edit:
Take the single-exposure photo and transform it into a more editorial, Airbnb-style image. Feel free to use creative lighting adjustments, masking, and retouching to give it a welcoming, magazine-quality feel. We’d love to see how you bring out the personality of the space.
Submitting Your Edits:
Once you’ve completed both edits, please include them with your application. You should have at least two final photos in total: one MLS real estate edit and one editorial Airbnb edit. Note that we will only consider applications that include these two test edits. If the test edits are not submitted, we won’t be able to move forward or respond.
