A new opportunity has arisen for a Systems Integration Support Analyst accountable
to the support desk manager in delivering support services to our worldwide partner
channel.
We seek an enthusiastic, versatile individual to join an established team providing a
range of Technical Support services around the exceptional BPA Business Process
Automation product. The role will involve all integration aspects, automation support,
and related duties.
It would suit an individual with two years+ IT support desk experience that is
integration and process automation specific with good knowledge around SaaS and
on-premise infrastructure, looking for a more challenging role involving investigation,
analysis and problem-solving skills.
The technologies employed by BPA are diverse and expanding, so training will be
given in-house where required, and this individual must be willing to learn and
acquire new skills.
? Responsible for monitoring and responding to open tickets through an i
management system. Ensuring that partner queries or issues are captured,
validated and triaged for further processing
? Troubleshoot and escalate unresolved tickets to an appropriate section.
? Communicating all forms of information, internal and external, to the appropriate
channels
? Prioritise and handle service tickets. Ensure support desk SLAs are met
? Progress tickets and provide relevant information for troubleshooting or
clarification
? Identify opportunities to produce knowledge-base articles pertinent to the
support function
? Identify opportunities for support process improvement
? Replicate issues and provide a complete diagnosis/fault scenario handover to the
development team 3rd line support.
Essential Skills
? Solid working knowledge and understanding of the concepts of relational
database management systems
? Previous Experience Supporting integration platforms such as Mulesoft or Boomi
? Good working knowledge of SQL query language
? Knowledge of web services using XML & JSON. Ability to analyse and find issues
with HTTP requests and responses using any HTTP debugging tool.
? Some working knowledge of testing APIs using Postman and an ability to acquire
a working knowledge necessary to exercise REST & SOAP APIs quickly and
robustly.
? Good knowledge of current Windows desktop operating systems, including
Windows 11.
? Good Networking knowledge of both cloud, on-premise and hybrid networks
using both cloud and on-premise. Understand how to keep these networks
secure and encrypted end-to-end.
? Experience supporting a SaaS-based product
? Good communication skills and a background in IT and computing, involving
integration and process automation scenarios.
? Good analytic skills using both inductive and deductive logic
? At least two years of experience in an IT-based technical support role, preferably
acquired from a software house
Desired
? Knowledge of working within server platforms such as Windows Server
? Experience using scripting languages such as VB & Jscript or PowerShell
? Knowledge of SQL server administration, especially performance-related tuning
? Experience in using any reporting tool
? Some experience with the Azure SQL server offerings, including SQL SaaS.
? Knowledge of the various data storage facilities (semi-structured & unstructured)
on Azure and/or Amazon
? Experience with any middleware/automation product
Advantage
? Familiarity with using any FTP, SMTP, Mail Servers such as MS Exchange,
General SMTP principles, Active Directory, IIS, MS SQL Server, Oracle
? Knowledge of working within virtualisation environments, especially around the
principles of private networking
? Some working knowledge in the Unix or Linux platform
