Position Overview
The Automations & Data Analytics Expert is responsible for designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining GoHighLevel (GHL) automations, CRM infrastructure, and data reporting systems to support scalable business operations.
This role is highly technical and data-focused, owning workflow logic, CRM architecture, integrations, and analytics to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and reliable insights across customer and revenue data.
Key Responsibilities
GHL Automation & CRM Architecture
Design, build, and maintain advanced GHL automations and workflows
Create and manage Smart Lists, tagging systems, pipelines, and conditional logic
Perform mass data updates, imports, exports, and bulk contact management
Maintain clean, scalable CRM architecture with consistent tagging and segmentation
Build, optimize, and troubleshoot funnels within GoHighLevel
Data Management & Analytics
Extract, clean, and analyze CRM and payment data for accuracy and insights
Build structured reports covering:
Revenue
Transactions
Subscriptions
Refunds
Customer activity and lifecycle behavior
Reconcile payment data with GHL contact records, tags, and automation logic
Identify data inconsistencies and implement corrective automation rules
Payment Systems & Integrations
Set up, manage, and maintain payment integrations, including:
Stripe
PayPal
Whop
Monitor data flow between payment platforms and GHL
Ensure automation triggers, tagging, and workflows fire correctly based on payment events
Automation Optimization & Technical Support
Monitor automation performance and continuously improve workflow efficiency
Troubleshoot automation errors, data mismatches, funnel issues, and integration failures
Update and refactor automations to support new tools, offers, and scaling requirements
Provide internal technical support related to GHL automations, CRM logic, and data accuracy
Documentation & System Integrity
Document automation logic, data flows, and CRM structures
Create and maintain technical SOPs for automation setup and maintenance
Ensure systems remain consistent, auditable, and scalable
Qualifications
Proven hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) automations and CRM architecture
Strong understanding of triggers, workflows, conditional logic, and automation best practices
Experience managing large datasets and performing mass updates safely
Solid knowledge of funnels, pipelines, and contact lifecycle automation
Hands-on experience with payment platforms:
Stripe (required)
PayPal and Whop (preferred)
Ability to extract raw payment and CRM data and convert it into clear, actionable reports
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and evolving system requirements
Preferred Skills
Experience with APIs, webhooks, or advanced GHL integrations
Familiarity with third-party reporting, dashboards, or BI tools
Experience scaling automations for high-volume or multi-offer businesses
Strong technical documentation and SOP creation skills
