As we continue to grow, we are expanding our AI-enhanced sales and automation division. We are seeking a Business Development & Sales Manager to oversee, optimize, and scale our lead-generation and appointment-setting operations built within GoHighLevel (GHL) and integrated AI systems.
Role Overview

This role is around 70% Sales driven and 30% AI driven.
We are looking for a proactive sales professional with strong experience in CRM pipelines, automation tools, and AI-powered workflows. You will manage all inbound and outbound leads, maintain a clean and productive pipeline, schedule qualified appointments for the VP of Operations, and close deals directly.
You will also collaborate with our AI engineering partners — including automation specialists, Retell AI voice teams, and n8n/GHL experts — to refine automations, improve workflows, and enhance the performance of our AI agents.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all leads within the GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM: organize, follow up, and close opportunities.
- Book qualified appointments with property managers, hotel operators, and business owners seeking security services.
- Work with AI and automation vendors to improve nurturing flows, pipeline logic, and campaign triggers.
- Monitor and optimize performance of AI voice, SMS, and
- Conduct discovery calls, gather requirements, and prepare/send proposals.
Track KPIs, appointment quality, sales conversions, and ROI metrics.
Develop SOPs, reporting structures, and feedback loops for continuous improvement.
Participate in weekly virtual strategy meetings with management and automation teams.
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales Management, or CRM/automation roles.
Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) or similar automation platforms.
Excellent communication, follow-up, and closing skills.
Understanding of AI tools, AI agents, and sales automation systems.
Highly organized, self-driven, and results-oriented.
Comfortable using dashboards, analytics, and tracking systems.
Available full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM PST.
Preferred
Experience with U.S.-based service industries (security, staffing, real estate, etc.).
Familiarity with n8n, Retell AI, or other AI/voice automation platforms.
Working knowledge of lead scoring, workflow triggers, and AI call agents.
Experience collaborating with automation or development teams.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: USD $1,400/month
