Root & Render is a wellness-focused tallow brand rooted in traditional ingredients, clean living, and intentional self-care. We sell directly to consumers through Shopify and are in a growth phase focused on expanding brand awareness, customer retention, and paid advertising performance across digital platforms.

Position Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing & Paid Ads Manager to create, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns while also producing engaging content for ads and social media. This role blends strategy, execution, and creativity.

You will be responsible for managing paid ads across Google and social media platforms, leveraging Shopify and Klaviyo data to improve conversions, and creating compelling content that aligns with our brand voice and values.

Key Responsibilities
-Paid Advertising
-Create, launch, manage, and optimize paid ad campaigns on:
-Google Ads
-Meta (Instagram & Facebook)
-Other relevant platforms as appropriate
-Monitor ad performance, ROAS, CAC, and conversion metrics
-A/B test creatives, copy, audiences, and landing strategies
-Manage ad budgets and scale winning campaigns
-Content Creation
-Create ad creatives (static, video, UGC-style content)
-Develop short-form content for social media and paid ads
-Write compelling ad copy aligned with Root & Render’s brand voice
-Collaborate on content ideas that educate and convert

Email & SMS Marketing
Utilize Klaviyo to:
-Build and optimize email and SMS campaigns
-Create flows (abandoned cart, post-purchase, campaigns, promos)
-Segment audiences and analyze performance
-Align email/SMS messaging with ad campaigns and product launches

E-Commerce Optimization
Work within Shopify to:
-Understand product performance and customer behavior
-Optimize funnels and conversion paths
-Coordinate ads with promotions, launches, and inventory availability

Qualifications
-Proven experience running paid ads for e-commerce brands
-Strong understanding of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
-Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo - preferred
-Ability to create or direct high-performing ad creatives
-Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
-Strong copywriting skills for ads, email, and SMS
-Familiarity with wellness, skincare, or natural product brands is a plus
