About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to lead and execute growth strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a marketing firm environment—juggling multiple accounts, translating client goals into actionable strategies, and driving measurable results across channels.
You’ll act as both strategist and operator, collaborating with internal teams and clients to plan, launch, and optimize campaigns that scale brands and businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Growth & Campaign Strategy
Develop and execute growth marketing strategies for multi-location retail and agency clients.
Build campaign plans across social media,
Propose campaign cadence, content themes, and authority-building content for LinkedIn and Instagram.
Plan seasonal and cultural campaigns (Back-to-School, Labor Day, Juneteenth, Black History Month, Fall, Holidays).
Support RFPs, marketing proposals, and pitch decks for new and existing clients.
Social Media & Community Marketing
Manage social media calendars and posting for multiple brands and locations.
Create, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn,
Increase local store visibility through:
Location-based posts
Community events
Discounts and special offers
Coordinate content sourcing (photos, stories, event images) from store managers and partners.
Oversee community-focused campaigns including benefit nights, fundraisers, and local outreach.
Monitor reviews, press mentions, awards, and community recognition opportunities.
Email
Draft and send newsletters, announcements, and promotional
Build and maintain
Execute SMS campaigns for discounts, events, and national promotions.
Coordinate newsletter content with internal stakeholders and leadership.
Load, manage, and clean contact databases.
Ensure compliance with privacy policies, terms & conditions, and brand guidelines.
Retail & Local Marketing Operations
Execute retail marketing initiatives including:
Discount cards
Flyers, A-frames, and in-store signage
Coordinate printing, ordering, proofing, and distribution with vendors (e.g., Staples).
Track inventory and distribution across multiple regions and store locations.
Support partnerships with schools, universities, malls, zoos, markets, and local businesses.
Develop and manage retail marketing calendars and bulk coupon strategies.
Grants, Awards & Social Mission Support
Research, apply for, and manage grant opportunities for clients and nonprofit initiatives.
Support award nominations, recognition programs, and community impact reporting.
Coordinate social mission communications and ensure proper stakeholder inclusion.
Track grant progress and provide updates to leadership and partners.
Reporting, Analytics & Optimization
Prepare marketing reports using tools such as Square, Google Analytics, and CRM dashboards.
Analyze campaign performance, engagement, and conversion metrics.
Create summaries of marketing efforts, hours, and ROI for leadership and clients.
Recommend improvements based on performance data.
Operations, Systems & Project Management
Manage
Maintain organized file systems, logins, passwords, and shared drives.
Clean, organize, and manage Canva brand assets and templates.
Create SOPs, onboarding checklists, and training documentation.
Coordinate payroll support, invoices, contracts, and internal admin tasks.
Schedule meetings, manage Zoom setups, and coordinate weekly manager calls.
Act as a central point of follow-up across leadership, clients, vendors, and store managers.
Qualifications
3–5+ years experience in growth marketing, agency marketing, or multi-client environments.
Proven experience managing retail, franchise, or location-based marketing.
Strong skills in social media,
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Comfortable juggling many moving parts without dropping the ball.
Confident communicator with clients, leadership, vendors, and partners.
Experience with grants, nonprofits, or community initiatives is a strong plus.
