Job Post.
We need 1 full time editor to turn our creator UGC content and personal brand clips into high retention short form videos for Meta, TikTok, and Instagram. This is performance editing. The goal is hooks, pacing, captions, and creating multiple real variants from the same raw footage.
What you will do.
You will edit 9:16 videos for ads and organic. You will cut strong hooks in the first 2 seconds, remove dead time, add burned in captions, add pattern interrupts, and deliver ready to upload exports. You will create 5 distinct ad variants from the same source footage. Variants must be meaningfully different, not cosmetic. Different first 2 seconds hook, different hook caption, different proof order, different pacing, different CTA placement. You will use Meta Ad Library for inspiration on hook styles and pacing.
Footage sourcing.
We will give you a list of our creator TikTok pages. You will select clips from those pages and download them using snaptik, then cut them into ads. We will also provide additional B roll you can use. Most product B roll will come from our creator pages.
Trial process:
Step 1 screening task. We give you access to our creator TikTok pages. You pick 1 creator video and deliver 5 hook options, with exact time stamps and the first on screen caption for each hook.
Step 2 paid test. Shortlisted candidates complete a paid test. You deliver 6 finished edits in 48 hours from creator footage you select, including 3 different hooks and 3 meaningfully different structures.
Output expectation after hire.
15 to 25 finished videos per week depending on length and complexity.
