Sugar Hill Creamery is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support the Co-Founder/CEO. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and proactive individual to work closely with the leadership of a growing, family-owned food brand based in New York City. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and wants to be an integral part of a dynamic team.
The Personal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support, serving as a key liaison between the stateside team, offshore team, and external clients and colleagues. This person will work directly with the Co-Founder/CEO to manage communications, coordinate schedules, and support various business and personal administrative tasks as the company continues its growth trajectory.
The ideal candidate has experience in administrative support or executive assistance, is able to problem solve and think on their feet, has an "all hands-on deck" mentality, and has the flexibility, energy, and humor to handle anything that comes their way. As a key member of a growing team, the Personal Assistant will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple functional areas of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Email
• Management of multiple
• Drafting and sending professional correspondence, memos, and
• Serving as primary liaison between stateside team, offshore team, and external stakeholders
• Managing communications with clients, colleagues, and potential business partners
• Weekend correspondence with CEO as needed based on business needs
Scheduling & Coordination
• Coordinating and scheduling meetings (both in-person and virtual)
• Attending weekly meetings with the offshore team
• Participating in key meetings with stateside tea
• Managing the Co-Founder/CEO's calendar and scheduling priorities
• Coordinating travel arrangements and logistics
Business Support
• Scheduling and drafting social media content
• Coordinating events and special projects
• Proposing and executing new project management approaches to streamline workflows
• Supporting various business tasks and initiatives as assigned
Personal Administrative Support
• Making personal appointments for the CEO and their family as needed
• Assisting with personal administrative tasks as assigned
Team Liaison
• Playing an integral role in connecting stateside and offshore teams
• Facilitating communication and collaboration across all tea
• Building and maintaining relationships with external clients and colleagues
QUALIFICATIONS
As a member of a young but growing company, you must possess the following qualities:
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing) – required
• Excellent written communication skills for memos,
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Collaborative and collegial working style
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Highest levels of integrity and good judgment
• Strong sense of ownership and urgency
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks
• Clear communication skills and an orientation toward customer satisfaction
• Flexibility to respond to weekend correspondence when business needs arise
Technical Requirements:

• Reliable internet connection
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This is a contractor position. Compensation includes:
• Starting at 20 hours per week, with potential for increased hours during busier months
• Payment made weekly on Friday evenings via PayPal
• 5 paid days off
• End-of-year bonus
• Paid office closure (1.5–2 weeks at end of year, based on business needs)
Note: Contractors are responsible for their own telecommunications costs and equipment needed to perform their duties.
