JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
We are looking for a practical, hands-on Process Automation Specialist to help automate internal workflows using modern AI tools and cloud services. This role focuses on building useful, reliable automations rather than deep computer science or large-scale software engineering.

You will work with JavaScript-based tools, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or Cursor to design and implement automations that save time, reduce manual work, and improve consistency across operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real business problems with code, is comfortable using AI tools to accelerate development, and prefers applied automation over theoretical engineering work.

Key Responsibilities
Design and build workflow automations using JavaScript and cloud-based tools. Use AI coding platforms such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar to accelerate development and iteration. Create scripts, services, or small applications that automate repetitive processes. Integrate APIs, webhooks, and third-party tools as needed. Deploy and manage lightweight services on Google Cloud Platform. Maintain and improve existing automations over time. Document workflows and automation logic clearly. Collaborate on requirements and translate them into working solutions.

Tools and Technology
JavaScript or Node.js. Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, basic GCP services). APIs and webhooks. AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, or Copilot. Git or basic version control. Spreadsheets, JSON, and structured data.

Required Qualifications
Strong practical experience with JavaScript for automation or scripting. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or willingness to learn quickly. Experience using AI tools to help write, debug, and improve code. Ability to break down manual processes and turn them into automated workflows. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working independently and iterating quickly.

Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience building internal tools or automations rather than consumer-facing apps. Familiarity with APIs, OAuth, and third-party integrations. Experience with cloud functions, serverless workflows, or background jobs. Basic understanding of databases or data pipelines. Prior work automating business or operational processes.

What This Role Is Not
This is not a senior software engineer or architect role. It does not require advanced algorithms, deep system design, or large-scale infrastructure. The focus is on practical automation, speed, and reliability using modern tools.

What Success Looks Like
Manual processes are replaced with reliable automated workflows. Automations are easy to understand and maintain. AI tools are used effectively to speed up development without sacrificing quality. Tasks that once required repeated human effort run automatically with minimal oversight.

How to Apply
Please include a short introduction about yourself, your experience with automation or JavaScript, examples of workflows or tools you have automated, the AI coding tools you use and how you use them, and any relevant links or code samples if available.
