We currently manage approximately 35 client business listings that are set up through BrightLocal. To improve visibility and consistency across these accounts, we are expanding efforts to identify additional listing opportunities, resolve ongoing issues, and streamline communication between listing platforms and the internal team.
Each client’s existing listings will be reviewed to uncover missing, duplicate, or incomplete profiles, as well as additional directories where the business should be represented. This includes managing common challenges such as claiming profiles, requesting access, handling verification requirements, and documenting platform-specific barriers that prevent listings from being completed.
A dedicated file will be created and maintained for each client to serve as a single source of truth. This file will include all relevant login credentials, current listing statuses, known issues, completed resolutions, and required next steps. Verification requirements—such as phone calls,
Listings will be organized by website and platform to allow the internal team to quickly understand what action is needed at any given time. When client involvement is required, the exact steps needed will be clearly outlined, enabling efficient coordination and faster completion of outstanding items.
This process is designed to centralize listing management, reduce friction in claiming and verification workflows, and ensure consistent follow-through across all client accounts.
