Position Summary:
The Personal Brand Developer is responsible for shaping, managing, and expanding the public brand identity of an executive, entrepreneur, or public-facing professional. This role builds a cohesive brand strategy across digital platforms, speaking engagements, media presence, and partnerships to increase visibility, credibility, and influence. The ideal candidate is strategic, creative, and skilled at storytelling, digital marketing, and reputation management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive personal brand strategy and roadmap
• Define brand voice, messaging pillars, and visual identity guidelines
• Manage social media presence across key platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, podcasts)
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging brand-aligned content
• Draft thought-leadership pieces, blogs, bios, captions, and talking points
• Coordinate speaking engagements, media features, interviews, and appearances
• Build and maintain relationships with press, partners, and influencers
• Oversee personal website or landing pages and ensure brand alignment
• Monitor analytics and audience growth; adjust strategy based on data
• Manage online reputation and respond to brand opportunities or risks
• Support book projects, courses, or product launches if applicable
• Develop brand collaborations, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in branding, marketing, PR, or social media strategy
• Proven experience developing or managing personal or influencer brands
• Strong content writing, storytelling, and messaging skills
• Proficiency with social media platforms, analytics tools, and scheduling platforms
• Understanding of audience building, engagement, and community growth
• Strong project management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with entrepreneurs, executives, influencers, or public figures
• Experience with media relations, podcast coordination, or public speaking support
• Familiarity with brand photography and video content direction
• Knowledge of SEO and personal websites/portfolio platforms
