JOB OVERVIEW

Key Responsibilities
Backlink Cleanup & Monitoring
• Identify and remove toxic or harmful backlinks using industry-standard tools.
• Perform ongoing backlink audits to protect domain and GBP health.
• Submit disavow files when necessary and monitor recovery progress.
Quality Backlink & Local Authority Building
• Build high-quality, relevant backlinks on a consistent daily basis.
• Follow strictly ethical, white-hat link building practices.
• Source links from guest posts, niche edits, resource pages, PR mentions, local citations, partnerships, and industry-relevant placements.
• Support GBP ranking efforts for HVAC companies through local links, citations, and brand mentions.
• Track and report acquired links weekly.

Content Promotion & Fast Indexing
• Help newly published blogs and service pages appear in search results within days.
• Apply fast-indexing strategies and SEO best practices to ensure rapid discovery.
• Support content visibility in AI search results (Google SGE, Perplexity, ChatGPT search integrations, etc.).

SEO & GBP Support
• Collaborate with the marketing manager to support organic and local ranking goals.
• Assist with Google Business Profile optimization, including authority signals, citations, and relevance.
• Provide on-page SEO recommendations when needed.
• Monitor competitor backlink and GBP strategies, identifying gaps and opportunities.

Qualifications
• Proven experience in backlink building and link acquisition negotiation.
• Strong understanding of toxic backlink identification and cleanup.
• Hands-on experience ranking Google Business Profiles, preferably for HVAC or home service businesses.
• Proficiency with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Majestic, or similar.
• Experience ranking content in both traditional search and AI-powered search environments.
• Ability to work independently with consistent daily output.
• Clear communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills
• Strong knowledge of local SEO and GBP ranking factors.
• Experience working with HVAC or service-based businesses.
• Understanding of SGE and AI-overview optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with fast indexing tools and search engine behavior.
• 5+ years of experience using Ahrefs, SEMrush, Search Console, Majestic, or similar tools.
• Ability to recommend or implement backlink automation tools responsibly.
