ABOUT US:
We’re a couple founders (Efrain + Cindy) building two consumer apps in public during 2026:
* App One (translation / communication)
* App Two (AI stylist / closet brain)
We run one shared account across Instagram, TikTok, and X. Content is clearly labeled so followers understand what they’re seeing.
WHAT WE NEED:
One person who can do BOTH:
1. Social media management
2. Short-form video editing
Your job is to turn our raw clips + notes into consistent, high-quality posts that feel human, simple, and not “corporate.” We need someone who understands how to build a community and has a likeable personality. We need someone who can MEET strict deadlines.
PLATFORMS:
* Instagram (Reels + Stories)
* TikTok
* X
PAY:
* $300 per month for Social Media Management (retainer)
* $20 per finished video edit (Reels/TikTok format)
Expected volume: about 16–25 videos per month (varies week to week)
RESPONSIBILITIES (SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT):
* Maintain a simple weekly content calendar (plan + schedule)
* Write captions in natural English (no cheesy/guru tone)
* Post + cross-post content to IG and TikTok
* Post/format X content (short updates, lessons, “ship logs”)
* Basic community management:
* Reply to comments/DMs (with our guidance)
* Light engagement daily (about 15-30 minutes/day)
RESPONSIBILITIES (VIDEO EDITING):
* Edit short-form vertical videos (9:16) for IG Reels + TikTok
* Add clean on-screen captions (burned-in)
* Improve hooks in the first 1–2 seconds
* Simple motion text + punchy pacing (no over-editing)
* Deliver final MP4 (and project file only if requested)
CONTENT STRUCTURE (SO YOU’RE NOT GUESSING):
Every post will be labeled as one of these:
* PUCKTALK
* NEWFIT
* SCOREBOARD / WEEKLY RECAP
* FOUNDER OPS (behind-the-scenes lessons)
Posting cadence:
* 4–5 posts per week total across IG/TikTok (cross-posted)
* X: 1–3 short posts per day (we can provide bullet notes; you polish + post)
REQUIREMENTS (MUST-HAVE):
* Proven experience editing short-form vertical content
* Proven experience managing IG/TikTok (posting, scheduling, basic growth instincts)
* Strong English writing (captions that sound like a real person)
* Organized and consistent (Notion/Trello/Google Drive)
* Can hit deadlines reliably
NICE TO HAVE:
* Canva skills (simple templates like a weekly scoreboard graphic)
* Experience with “build in public,” startups, or creator-style content
* Understands hooks, retention, and short-form pacing
TOOLS (WE USE):
* Google Drive (raw clips + assets)
* Notion or Trello (content calendar + tasks)
* Canva (templates)
* CapCut / Premiere / Final Cut (your choice)
* Metricool/Later/Buffer (optional; we can provide access)
TIME ZONE / AVAILABILITY:
* Async is fine
* Must be responsive with some overlap in US Central time (Chicago) for quick approvals/edits
HIRING PROCESS:
1. Apply with portfolio
2. Short paid trial: 2 videos + 1 week of posting (paid)
3. If it’s a fit, ongoing monthly work
HOW TO APPLY (INCLUDE ALL):

We’ll supply raw clips and a weekly plan. Your job is to execute consistently and make the content feel clean, natural, and on-brand.
