JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a reliable and skilled video editor for long-term work. Someone who delivers consistently excellent results and communicates well.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:
Do not apply if you are a standard social media editor or primarily work on low-budget content.
This role is for editors experienced with multi-thousand-dollar productions, advanced LOG color grading, and commercial-level polish.

You will mainly edit 30–60 second vertical Reels for real estate and interior remodel showcases:
• 3–8 videos per week
• 5-day turnaround
• Smooth pacing, speed ramps, clean transitions
• Professional color grading (LOG, 4K 60fps footage)
• Strong sound design and clean text animation

We will also produce 1–6 horizontal commercial videos per month (3–20 minutes).

Preferred Software
• DaVinci Resolve (ideal for collaborative workflow)
• Premiere/Final Cut also acceptable if the quality is high

What matters most
• Exceptional quality every time
(color, audio, pacing, storytelling)
• Great communication
• Occasional WhatsApp check-ins if needed
• Reliable delivery and attention to detail

Workload
• Starts part-time (10–20 hrs/week)
• High potential to increase and even become full-time during busier periods as we grow together

Compensation
• $100 USD per completed Reel
• $300–$1200 USD per commercial project
• Rates will increase as workload and performance scale

Screening Test
I’ll provide raw footage for a test edit to confirm quality.
It is unpaid; however, if you are hired, I will retroactively pay for the test project.

If you enjoy premium content, take pride in your work, and want a consistent long-term partnership, this will be a great fit. Rates will increase as workload and performance scale. There will be periods where this role temporarily becomes full-time as we grow.
