JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly experienced Google Ads professional to build 3–4 complete Google Search campaigns for a US-based residential landscaping company.
This role is project-based only — focused exclusively on correct, clean setup and launching campaigns quickly, one at a time.
Landing pages will be created by another tea ---------- mber, but your campaign structure and ad content will guide their design.
???? Responsibilities
You will be responsible for end-to-end campaign buildout with fast completion expectations:
1. Campaign Setup (One at a Time, Fast Turnaround)
Build each campaign individually
Complete ? review ? go-live ? test ? adjust
No slow or batch delivery — each campaign must be launched promptly
2. Full Campaign Architecture
Create campaigns for multiple service lines:
Residential landscape maintenance
Realtor “Curb Appeal Refresh” campaigns
Home Depot Garden / DIY shopper intercept campaigns
High-ticket landscape makeover projects ($3K–$10K+)
Build clean ad group structures (tight intent clusters)
3. Keywords, Match Types & Intent-Purity
Exact + Phrase match only (no broad match)
Strong intent segmentation for:
Maintenance
Cleanup/pruning/seasonal refresh
Pre-listing / preparing home for sale
Design/makeover intent
Identify & exclude “bad intent” patterns common in landscaping searches
4. Negative Keyword Systems
Create a strong negative list (DIY terms, low-budget intent, “how to”, “cheap”, wrong services, etc.)
Ongoing refinement during early test period
5. Ad Copy & Extensions
Write RSAs that match homeowner psychology
Create callouts, sitelinks, & structured snippets
Integrate local area names (ZIP code targeting experience required)
6. Conversion Tracking Setup (Required)
You must be able to set up:
Conversion actions
Tag installation instructions
Verification & testing
Event troubleshooting during go-live
(Google Tag Manager or direct site tagging)
7. Geo Targeting
Setup radius + ZIP code targeting
Focus on high-income pockets (instructions provided)
8. Performance Foundations
Choose the correct bid strategy (lead-focused)
Setup quality score foundations (ad relevance, CTR improvement, alignment)
Turn OFF auto-expansion, broad recommendations, and Google’s “helpful” automated systems
9. Go-Live, Test, & Adjust
After each campaign launches:
Monitor for initial search term bleed
Tighten keywords & negatives
Adjust bids / CPC control
Ensure lead quality is protected
? Requirements
3+ years of direct Google Ads account management (not assisting)
Strong experience with US local service lead generation
Proven track record of:
CPC reduction
Quality score improvement
Intent segmentation
Strong negative list construction
Must understand:
Exact vs phrase match discipline
Lead-quality protection
ZIP code geo-targeting
Able to set up conversion tracking correctly
Quick turnaround speed — no slow delivery
Clear communicator
Able to explain campaign logic clearly

One-time project only (no long-term management or full-time work)
