Virtual Assistant for Real Estate Media Editing and Operations

About the Role

This role focuses heavily on photo editing, retouching, quality control, and operational support. You will play a critical part in ensuring every listing delivered meets Arkansas REM’s high standards for clean, natural, and jaw-dropping results.

This position starts part-time with strong potential to grow into a larger role, including operations assistant or client-facing admin support, and possibly full-time employment in the future.

Non-Negotiables (Please Read Carefully)
• Real estate photo editing experience is required
• You must be comfortable performing retouching work such as clutter removal, car removal, sign removal, and general cleanup
• You must be proficient in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop
• You must be able to follow SOPs while also making smart judgment calls when needed
• You must be able to communicate clearly (clear, written English is a must), respond quickly during work hours, and work well with a team
• Applications without a portfolio and video submission will not be considered

If you do not meet these requirements, this role will not be a good fit.

Responsibilities
• Photo editing is a core responsibility and a must-have skill
• Perform detailed retouching including clutter removal, car removal, sign removal, and fine cleanup
• Conduct thorough quality control on photo galleries both within AutoHDR workflows and manual edits outside of AutoHDR
• Ensure all images meet Arkansas REM’s standards for clean, natural, and visually impressive quality
• Upload, organize, and deliver listings to clients using Dropbox and Spiro
• Create high-quality, realistic virtual twilight images
• Make judgment calls when needed while following established SOPs
• Communicate clearly and consistently with both the photo and video editing teams
• Flag issues, inconsistencies, or potential improvements before listings are delivered
• Participate in daily check-ins and submit weekly summaries
• Maintain fast response times and strong communication during working hours

Required Skills and Experience
• Strong experience with Lightroom Classic and Photoshop
• Proven experience editing real estate photography
• Experience creating virtual twilight images
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Comfortable working with Dropbox, Spiro, and AutoHDR or willing to learn quickly
• Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Huge Plus Skills
• Experience with After Effects or graphic design
• Experience working with real estate media companies
• Experience in operations or administrative support roles

Work Schedule and Pay
• 15 to 20 hours per week
• Typical working hours are 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM Central Standard Time
• Some on-call availability may be required
• Starting pay: $5 per hour
• Raises considered based on performance
• Long-term growth opportunities and potential full-time employment
• 30-day probationary period

Communication Expectations
• Daily check-ins
• Weekly summaries
• Quick responses during working hours
• Communication currently via WhatsApp, with plans to transition to Slack
