Hello!
This role manages live Google Ads accounts with real client money, so we need someone with actual experience & skill. If you plan on learning on the job — please do not apply.
We’re a small US-based agency working with local service businesses (plumbing, tree service, etc.), in need of a proven Google Ads manager
What You’ll Do:
- You manage existing campaigns and keep accounts clean, accurate, and stable.
- Launch new campaigns based on info from our client onboarding form
- Weekly search term reviews + negative keywords
- Account hygiene (ads, extensions, locations, budgets)
- Bid/budget adjustments within clear rules
- Conversion tracking setup & audits (calls + forms)
- Identify when accounts are broken, low intent, or should be paused
- Automate or write up performance reports (e.g., written updates: what changed, what’s wrong, what needs a decision, etc)
- You won't need to communicate with clients directly
Requirements:
- 3+ years managing Google Ads hands-on
- Experience with call-based local service businesses
- Ideally experienced working with a marketing agency
- Comfortable saying: “This account won’t work and here’s why” and backing it up with data
- Quick communication (we primarily communicate via-Slack and ClickUp)
- Strong understanding of:
>>> Search intent & match types
>>> Search terms
>>> Negative keyword strategy
>>> Google Tag Manager for in-depth conversion tracking (calls, clicks, form submissions)
Estimated: 5-10 hours/week to start
Long-term role for the right person
Paid test task required
