JOB OVERVIEW

IMPORTANT: Please read this carefully before applying. Generic applications will be ignored.

We are an Australian facilities management company with a growing digital footprint across multiple service industries. We are looking for a highly capable Organic SEO Manager to take full ownership of our SEO strategy and execution. This is not a junior role, not a “content poster” role, and not a shortcut or black-hat SEO role.

If you rely on AI alone, spam backlinks, or vague SEO theory, this role is not for you.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
You will own organic SEO end-to-end, including strategy, execution, tracking, and results.

• Full SEO audits and ongoing optimisation of existing websites
• Keyword research focused on commercial intent and local/service SEO
• Content optimisation of existing blogs and service pages (we already have large content libraries)
• Creating SEO briefs and optimisation instructions (not just writing content)
• Technical SEO basics: site structure, indexing, crawl issues, Core Web Vitals awareness
• Backlink strategy focused on quality, relevance, and safety (no PBNs, no spam)
• Monitoring performance via Google Search Console and Analytics
• Clear monthly reporting showing what moved, why it moved, and what’s next

You are expected to think, not just execute tasks.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
• Not social media
• Not paid ads
• Not AI-generated bulk content without human SEO logic
• Not micromanaged

We care about rankings, traffic quality, and conversions, not vanity metrics.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
Only apply if you meet ALL of the following:

• 3+ years hands-on organic SEO experience
• Proven ranking results for competitive or service-based keywords
• Strong keyword research skills (you must understand search intent, not just volume)
• On-page SEO expertise (titles, headings, internal linking, content optimisation)
• Comfortable using Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• Experience with WordPress or similar CMS
• Ability to explain SEO decisions clearly in English

If you cannot explain why something works, you are not ready for this role.

BONUS (NOT REQUIRED BUT HIGHLY VALUED)
• Local SEO experience (service areas, location pages, Google Business Profiles)
• Experience optimising large existing content libraries
• Basic technical SEO understanding (indexing, crawl paths, site health)
• Experience working with Australian or international clients

WORK SETUP & EXPECTATIONS
• Remote role (Philippines-based)
• Full-time, long-term position
• Results-focused environment
• Direct communication with the company owner
• Clear expectations, no micromanagement

SALARY
Competitive and based on proven ability, not promises. Performance reviews based on measurable SEO outcomes.

HOW TO APPLY (THIS IS IMPORTANT)
To be considered, your application MUST include the following:

A short explanation (in your own words) of how you approach SEO for a service-based business

One example of a website you helped rank, including what you did and what improved

The word “ORGANIC” at the top of your application so we know you read this

Applications that do not follow these instructions will be ignored.

We are looking for someone who wants stability, ownership, and long-term growth, not someone looking for a short-term gig.

If you’re confident in your SEO skills and want to be judged on results, we want to hear from you.
