ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled Product Research Specialist to help us identify trending fashion products sold by top Australian Shopify fashion brands and find the original suppliers/manufacturers in China.
Your job will be to research bestselling products from successful Australian online fashion stores and locate where these products are sourced from in China, including prices, MOQs, and supplier contacts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Competitor Product Research
• Browse top Australian fashion brand websites daily/weekly
• Identify bestselling and trending products
• Analyze new arrivals and seasonal collections
• Track price points, styles, and product descriptions
• Screenshot products and save product URLs
2. China Supplier Identification (Reverse Sourcing)
• Search for identical/similar products on Chinese platforms:
- ---------- (Chinese wholesale - cheapest prices)
- ---------- (English version for international buyers)
- ---------- (Chinese retail platform)
- AliExpress (small quantity orders)
• Use reverse image search to find original manufacturers
• Compare product quality through images and reviews
• Find factory/supplier contact information

3. Price & Supplier Analysis
• Record wholesale prices from China suppliers
• Calculate potential profit margins
• Note Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)
• Identify shipping costs and delivery times
• Rate supplier reliability (reviews, years in business, response rate)
4. Reporting & Documentation
• Create organized spreadsheets with all findings
• Include product images, URLs, prices, and supplier links
• Provide weekly/monthly research reports
• Make recommendations on best products to source

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Must-Have:

WORK SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
1. Hours: 10-40 hours per week (flexible)
2. Days: Monday to Friday (flexible schedule)
3. Rate: $4-10/hour USD based on experience
4. Payment: Weekly or bi-weekly via PayPal, Wise, or direct bank transfer
