About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Graphic & Packaging Designer to join our creative team. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our product presentation - from the technical silkscreen on the hardware itself to the "unboxing experience" of the gift box and the logistical clarity of the outer shipping cartons.
The ideal candidate understands that packaging is more than just a box; it is the first physical interaction a customer has with our brand.
Key Responsibilities
• Product Artwork: Design precise silkscreen layouts and rating labels for electronic hardware, ensuring all ports, buttons, and safety icons are accurately placed.
• Retail Packaging: Create high-impact Inner Gift Box art that stands out on shelves and digital marketplaces. Understanding die cut lines for manufacturing is critical.
• Logistics Design: Develop Outer Carton layouts including shipping marks, barcodes, and handling icons.
• Technical Documentation: Layout user-friendly Instruction Manuals that translate complex setups into easy-to-follow visual guides.
• Compliance: Ensure all designs meet regulatory standards (FCC, CE, RoHS) and include necessary safety warnings and rating labels.
• Production Management: Prepare "press-ready" files and coordinate with manufacturers to ensure color accuracy and print quality.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience: 2+ years in graphic design, bonus if your experience is within the consumer electronics or hardware industry.
• Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of die-lines, CMYK vs. Pantone, spot UV, and various printing substrates.
• Detail Oriented: Ability to manage high-density information (like manual text and spec sheets) without errors while maintaining strict production timeframes.
• Portfolio: Must showcase examples of physical packaging, manuals, or hardware branding.
Bonus Skills
• Experience with 3D rendering (Keyshot or Adobe Dimension) to visualize packaging before production.
• Knowledge of global retail labeling requirements.
