Position Overview
We are seeking a Scheduler with 1–2 years of experience scheduling nurses and caregivers in a fast-paced home health environment. The Scheduler plays a vital role in ensuring continuity of care by building and maintaining staff schedules, coordinating last-minute changes, and serving as a key communication link between caregivers, clients, and the HomeLogic team.

Key Responsibilities
* Some flexible weekend work required.
* Create, manage, and maintain accurate nurse and caregiver schedules to ensure client coverage.
* Coordinate onboarding of new staff into the scheduling system.
* Respond quickly to last-minute staffing changes and resolve scheduling gaps.
* Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and internal tea
* Track and monitor shift confirmations, attendance, and compliance with agency policies.
* Collaborate with recruiters and operations to align staff availability with client needs.
* Maintain accurate documentation in the agency’s management information system (MIS).
* Provide regular reporting on open shifts, coverage gaps, and scheduling trends.
Qualifications
* 1–2 years of scheduling experience** in home health, healthcare staffing, or related field (required).
* Familiarity with **home health scheduling practices** and caregiver/nurse credentialing requirements.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to last-minute changes.
* Proficiency with scheduling software, EMR/MIS systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) or similar Medicaid home health programs.
* Prior remote work experience.
* Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements.
