JOB OVERVIEW

Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our YouTube TV show recap channels. This role focuses on researching TV shows, sourcing episodes for scriptwriters, and helping plan upcoming YouTube content based on trending and newly released series.

You will work closely with the channel owner and scriptwriters to ensure our YouTube videos are timely, well-researched, and strategically planned.

Key Responsibilities
YouTube TV Show & Episode Management

Source and download TV show episodes for YouTube scriptwriting and research purposes

Organize episodes by show, season, and episode number in shared folders

Ensure files are clearly named and easy for scriptwriters to access

YouTube Research & Trend Analysis

Research currently airing, newly released, and trending TV shows on major streaming platforms

Analyze which shows are performing well on YouTube (search demand, popularity, audience interest)

Identify recap opportunities such as:

“The Entire Story of [Show]”

Season or episode recap potential

Older or classic shows gaining renewed interest

YouTube Content Planning & Scheduling

Help plan upcoming YouTube videos based on:

Episode release schedules

Season premieres and finales

Viewer demand and trending topics

Assist in organizing a YouTube content calendar

Track what shows have already been covered vs upcoming opportunities

Workflow & Organization

Maintain spreadsheets or documents tracking:

Downloaded episodes

Research status

Assigned scriptwriters

Publishing priority

Follow established YouTube workflows and naming conventions

Communicate clearly with the content lead and writing team

Requirements

Strong research and organizational skills

Familiarity with YouTube content, especially TV show recaps or commentary channels

Knowledge of streaming platforms (Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, Hulu, Apple TV+, etc.)

Comfortable using Google Drive, spreadsheets, and shared folders

Strong written English and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience working with YouTube channels or faceless/automation channels

Understanding of YouTube SEO, titles, and audience behavior

Experience as a virtual assistant for content creators
