We are hiring a Podcast Video Editor to own long-form podcast editing and publishing for ThePod.fm, plus short-form clips and supporting assets.
We provide clear guides, templates, and specs. Your job is to execute consistently, QA everything, and hit deadlines.

Key responsibilities:
• Edit long-form podcast episodes (primarily online recordings, occasional in-person)
• Multi-cam edits, clean pacing, professional polish, strong attention to detail
• QA on audio, video, captions, framing, and brand guidelines
• Use our AI tools to clean up and professionalise audio (training provided)
• Create short-form clips using Opus Clip, then QA for brand consistency and quality
• Create artwork using Canva templates (we provide guidelines and templates)
• Create show notes to our specification
• Prepare and distribute final assets as per our publishing checklist
Work volume:
• Weekly volume varies. Some weeks may be 5 episodes, other weeks may be 20+.
• When podcast volume is lighter, you will support with ad-hoc tasks such as:
• Internal marketing graphics
• Editing internal marketing videos for YouTube or LinkedIn
Availability and calls:
• Must be available for 4-8 hours per day (we are flexible on schedule)
• We measure performance on quality and meeting deadlines
• Mandatory team calls:
• Monday 12PM UK time
• Thursday 12PM UK time
Requirements:
• Clear spoken English
• High-quality webcam for internal calls
• High-speed, reliable WiFi
• A computer capable of handling video editing workloads
