JOB OVERVIEW

Are you a video editor who can deliver clean, modern edits and handle both longform and shortform content? We’re looking for someone like you to join our growing remote team and take over editing for one of our clients.

You can begin part-time, but must be available for consistent work and open to moving into a larger, long-term role. We are looking for someone who wants stability, ongoing projects, and the opportunity to grow within the team.

The role starts at $10–$12 per hour (USD), depending on experience and speed. You will begin on an hourly rate during onboarding. Once we consistently hit the monthly KPIs for the client you take over (4 longform videos and 20 shortform videos per month), we may move to a fixed monthly compensation structure for that client. Reliability, quality of work, and consistency matter, and tea ---------- mbers who deliver will grow with us.

Some guidance and playbooks will be provided, but this role is for someone with editing experience who can take ownership of their projects and deliver consistently. You will be responsible for both longform and shortform edits for one client to start, with the potential to take on more clients as you grow with the team.

We are expanding and your role will expand as well. If you are looking for a long-term position where your responsibilities can grow into content leadership, this will be a strong fit. Long-term opportunities include becoming Head of Content, doing content research, managing content posting, and leading other editors, thumbnail designers, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

Edit longform talking-head videos (little to no animations)
Edit shortform content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok
Follow brand guidelines, editing playbooks, and workflow instructions
Deliver consistent, high-quality output according to monthly KPIs
Communicate clearly and respond in a timely manner
Handle large 4K files and maintain an organized workflow

What We’re Looking For:

Experience editing longform and shortform content
Ability to follow detailed instructions and established workflows
Effective communication skills
Consistent reliability and attention to detail
A growth mindset, willingness to learn, and desire for long-term work
A stable editing setup capable of handling large 4K footage

Bonus Points If You Also Have:

Experience with motion graphics or animated subtitles
Understanding of social media content trends
Thumbnail editing skills
Experience posting or scheduling content
Content research or creative direction experience
Familiarity with modern editing tools and plug-ins

We have previously worked with excellent editors from the Philippines and value flexibility. As long as the work is delivered with care and meets deadlines, we trust you to manage your time.

You do not need to work US hours, but you must communicate effectively and deliver work on schedule.

You will also be supported by our internal workflows, playbooks, and clear expectations so you can get up to speed quickly.
