JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a highly skilled Video Editor who understands the psychology of viral short-form content and can replicate my fast, punchy, comedic editing style seen on my YouTube channel.

Your main job will be to edit short-form videos (30–60 seconds) using my footage, applying strong pacing, sound design, captions, visuals, and storytelling techniques that keep retention high from start to finish.

This is NOT a basic editing role — I need someone who can elevate the footage, add personality, and make every video feel scroll-stopping and premium.

Responsibilities

Edit 30–60 second short-form videos in my style: fast pacing, comedic timing, strong narrative progression

Add captions using my color-coded caption style and formatting

Use sound design: foley, real-life audio, ---------- s, swooshes, and satisfying sound cues

Add music that progresses with the story and enhances emotional beats

Add subtle SFX, zooms, keyframes, masking, greenscreen cutouts (when needed), and other YouTubey editing techniques

Follow provided editing guides, references, and project structure

Create clean loops when needed

Keep files and project structure organized

Deliver quick turnarounds (1–5 videos per day depending on workload)

Requirements

Strong experience editing short-form videos for creators or brands

Ability to match an existing editing style precisely

Proficiency in Premiere Pro (required)

Ability to take feedback and iterate fast

Strong sense of timing, pacing, storytelling, and comedic rhythm

Reliable internet for downloading/uploading large files

Must enjoy a fast-paced workflow
