Position Overview:
The Social Media Content Manager will be responsible for managing our entire social ecosystem. This includes posting, scheduling, optimizing content, writing titles/captions, monitoring trends, engaging with our audience, reminding the team to capture photos/videos, and ensuring consistent daily activity on all platforms. You will work closely with our creators, editors, and content team to keep content flowing smoothly.
Responsibilities:
• Content Posting & Scheduling
• Post all short-form content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube • • • Shorts,
• Post all long-form content on YouTube and
• Upload and schedule posts at the optimal times for each platform.
• Maintain a cross-platform posting calendar.
• Ensure all drafts are properly captioned, titled, tagged, and ready for posting.
Content Management:
• Remind the team daily to take photos, behind-the-scenes, and spontaneous content.
• Organize and manage content folders from editors and creators.
• Track what has been posted, what’s scheduled, and what still needs to be filmed.
• Request additional footage from creators when content gaps appear.
Audience Engagement:
• Respond to comments, messages, and community interactions across all platforms.
• Monitor trending comments or feedback and report insights to the team.
• Encourage audience engagement through questions, CTAs, and community polls.
Optimization & Strategy:
• Research and stay up to date with social media trends, audios, formats, and hashtags.
• Track analytics to determine the best posting times, top-performing content, and weekly growth.
• Write engaging titles, captions, and thumbnail text that improve retention and click-through.
• Identify content opportunities from trends and present weekly ideas to the team.
Brand & Platform Consistency:
• Keep messaging consistent across all accounts.
• Ensure all posts represent the brand voice and style of the creators.
• Maintain an organized archive of previous posts for reference.
Daily Tasks:
• Post content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, and
• Upload long-form videos as needed and optimize titles/descriptions.
• Remind creators to take photos and videos throughout the day.
• Engage with audience comments and messages.
• Track performance of yesterday’s posts.
• Update the content calendar with new posts, drafts, and scheduled items.
• Review trending audios,
Weekly Tasks:
• Prepare and present a weekly social media performance report.
• Review analytics and refine posting times/tactics accordingly.
• Meet with the content team to plan weekly filming needs.
• Pull the best photos and clips for next week’s posts.
• Create draft captions, titles, and posting templates.
• Identify weekly trends relevant to our brand.
• Maintain organization of all content folders and archives.
• Suggest 5–10 new short-form content ideas per week.
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of social media experience (creator or influencer marketing preferred).
• Strong understanding of TikTok, YouTube, Instagram,
• Excellent writing skills (titles, captions, descriptions).
• Ability to multitask and stay extremely organized.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, content-heavy environment.
