Reports To the DOSS Vice President of Core Operations
About DOSS
DOSS is a fast-growing ERP startup based in San Francisco, California, on a mission to solve real-world global supply chain problems and to help businesses streamline operations through a modern, cloud-native platform. DOSS closed its series A funding earlier this year and is gaining fast
We are a US-based ERP and workflow platform helping businesses modernize operations — from inventory and order management to production, fulfillment, and financials. We integrate with tools like Shopify, 3PLs, and accounting systems to orchestrate real-world operations.
We are growing fast and this is a great opportunity to join a rocket ship startup disrupting the ERP space. We are growing our team in the Philippines to partner closely with our US team to lead new customer product implementation from discovery to design to building to testing.
This is a build-focused role, not a support/help desk role and will require using your data and technical skills to actually design the product and installs, build workflows and drive testing with customers.
Role Overview
As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will work directly with our U.S. operations and product teams to design, configure, and launch new ERP systems for customers. This is a builder role, focused on system logic, workflow design, and data modeling — *not* a support or ticket-driven role.
This function is the engine of the company. You will guide customers from post-sales onboarding through discovery, solution design, build, configuration, testing, and go-live. You will translate ambiguous business processes into clear, structured system workflows and data schemas inside DOSS.
We are hiring Senior Systems Analysts in the Philippines to join our growing team and partner closely with our U.S.-based core operations leads.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing data models and system schemas that accurately represent client operations.
- Mapping data across disparate systems (Shopify, 3PLs, accounting tools) into DOSS.
- Configuring workflows, rules, and automations to represent real-world business processes.
- Supporting testing, validation, and go-live readiness.
- Participating in discovery sessions and converting insights into structured requirements, process maps, and configuration plans.
You are essentially the systems design/architect and builder behind every new customer go-live.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems Analysis & Schema Design: Understand customer operational workflows and translate them into logical data models, relational schemas, and configuration structures inside DOSS.
- Workflow Modeling & Configuration: Configure business rules, process flows, validations, and operational workflows. Ideal for people who love designing clean systems and logical processes.
- Integrations & Event Flow Understanding: Work with U.S. and Philippines engineering and implementation teams to support integration logic across Shopify, 3PLs, accounting systems, and internal services. Assist in interpreting payloads, mapping fields, and ensuring data consistency across systems.
- Implementation Build & Testing Execution: Prepare initial system configurations (products, locations, customers, mappings, workflows). Co-lead end-to-end testing (UAT), design test cases, validate outcomes, and ensure the system behaves predictably across scenarios.
Required Skills & Experience
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1-C2 level); comfortable working with U.S.-based teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related technical fields. Master’s degree or higher preferred
- 4-5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Technical BA, or similar systems-oriented role.
- Strong understanding of relational data models — entities, relationships, keys, constraints, and normalization.
- Ability to design and reason about data schemas and business objects that represent real operational processes.
- Comfort interpreting structured data (e.g., JSON payloads) and understanding API-based integrations (REST, webhooks) for troubleshooting is a plus.
- Proficiency with SQL is a big big plus
- Experience working with workflow/automation or configuration-driven platforms (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier, low-code/ERP/CRM workflow tools) is a big plus
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to break ambiguous processes into clear, structured workflow logic.
- High attention to detail; rigorous about data correctness, configuration accuracy, and predictable system behavior.
- Comfortable working asynchronously, documenting system decisions clearly (requirements, mappings, workflows).
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Prior experience implementing or configuring systems such as ERP, WMS, OMS, CRM, or similar workflow-heavy platforms.
- Background in e-commerce, logistics, manufacturing, CPG, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in systems consulting, technical business analysis, or solution design.
- Exposure to startups or high-growth environments where speed and flexibility are essential.
What We Offer
- Competitive USD-based compensation for PH-based talent.
- Opportunity to work closely with a US founding/leadership team.
- Ability to directly shape how modern ERP implementations are done.
- Growth path into Senior Implementation Analyst or Technical Program Manager.
- Remote-first culture with flexible work and a bias for ownership.
