Role Overview
The Funding Specialist is responsible for executing the full funding cycle for qualified clients — from application strategy to approvals — while developing strong banking relationships and overseeing entity formations. This role requires detail-oriented execution, consistent communication, and an understanding of credit, underwriting, and lender requirements.
The Funding Specialist will own three core areas:
Funding Fulfillment
Banker & Lender Relationship Building
Entity Formation
Primary Responsibilities
Funding Fulfillment (Main Role)
Strategically fund clients using 0% APR credit card stacking, along with lines of credit and installment loans when needed.
Assess credit profiles, reports, and scores to determine optimal application sequencing and highest approval odds.
Execute the full funding roadmap: qualification ? application submissions ? status tracking ? follow-ups ? approvals.
Maintain consistent communication with the CSM and Dispute Team to ensure seamless transition from credit repair to funding.
Review updated credit reports and Notion dashboards to determine client funding readiness.
Submit applications, handle reconsideration calls, and secure the highest limits possible for clients.
Record all completed funding actions in Notion and update systems daily.
???? Banker & Lender Relationship Development
Identify and outreach potential lenders: bankers, credit union reps, relationship managers, and financial institutions.
Build partnerships via LinkedIn,
Schedule and attend virtual meetings with new bankers to present our client pipeline and build long-term partnerships.
Maintain an internal database of lender contacts and track underwriting preferences, approval requirements, and relationship status.
Leverage relationships to secure manual underwriting opportunities and higher credit limits for clients.
Bonus Incentive
For every three (3) new active bankers onboarded and successfully processed through for at least one client application, the Funding Specialist will earn a $100 bonus.
???? Entity Formation Responsibilities
Form and file LLCs, S-Corps, and C-Corps based on internal SOPs and client intake forms.
Conduct short discovery calls (up to 30 minutes) with clients when clarification is needed.
Ensure accuracy of all formation details: business names, ownership percentages, addresses, EINs, and compliance data.
Update entity progress and completion in Notion, including timestamps and status notes.
Coordinate with the CSM to ensure entities are properly formed prior to funding submission.
Performance Expectations
Maintain an active and updated client pipeline inside Notion.
Daily reporting of funding applications, approvals, and lender communication.
Minimum weekly outbound outreach quota for new lender relationships.
Responsible for maintaining client confidentiality and compliance at all times.
Must meet monthly KPIs for funded total volume (to be determined internally).
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple applications and priorities at once
Comfortable speaking with bankers and relationship managers
Understanding of credit reports (preferred, training provided)
Familiar with Notion, Google Workspace, and CRM tools
Works well independently and proactively

Business entity formation or corporate filing

CRM or operations workflow background
Compensation
Base pay (remote) — determined based on experience
Performance incentives
$100 bonus for every 3 new bankers fully onboarded and processed
Additional performance bonuses based on funded volume
