Demand Writer - Personal Injury Law Firm
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time, with a 1-hour break (graveyard shift)
Salary: $1,000 per month

We are one of the fastest growing personal injury firms in the United States. We are seeking a skilled Demand Writer who can prepare high quality demand packages that tell a clear story, maximize case value, and support our commitment to efficient, technology driven case handling.
This role is ideal for someone who understands personal injury workflow and knows how to gather facts, summarize medical records, and build a compelling narrative that supports negotiation. You will work closely with case managers and attorneys and will be an important part of helping clients get their lives back after difficult events.
Responsibilities
• Draft detailed, accurate, and persuasive demand letters for personal injury cases
• Review medical records, bills, police reports, and client statements to produce a complete case narrative
• Organize all supporting documents and present damages in a clear structure
• Communicate with case managers to confirm missing information or clarify injuries, treatment, or liability details
• Confirm that all medical specials and future treatment estimates are correct
• Maintain consistent formatting, tone, and deadlines across all demand packages
• Ensure each demand aligns with the firm’s strategy and the attorney’s guidance
• Use the firm’s technology and case management system to track work and maintain accurate file notes
Required Skills and Experience
• Previous graveyard shift experience is a must
• Experience drafting personal injury demands for a law firm or PI support company
• Strong writing skills with an ability to tell a coherent and persuasive story
• Understanding of medical terminology, bodily injury claims, and common treatment plans
• High attention to detail when reviewing records and calculating damages
• Familiarity with personal injury case flow from intake to settlement
• Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines in a high volume environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Preferred
• Experience with California personal injury cases
• Prior work with medical record summaries or case management software
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
