Hello, we are looking for a way to create an automated system that will help with internal tracking and ordering for our inventory. Note this would also be for three separate locations that have their own unique inventory as well.
Currently the tracking is done manually, each location has their own sheet on an excel page. The tracking is calculated by tabulating the current stock and comparing it to our minimum par. See Have v Par (2nd column from left) more details listed below picture 1.
Ideally, the new system (i.e. table/sheets/etc) would automatically update with the items that are below par and need to be refilled/ordered. Either the needed inventory would have its own column and generate the listed items or it would have some indication like change of color or have a table with columns such as low stock/out of stock/in stock to indicate levels of inventory. The main goal is to create an easy visual to help us order what inventory is out of stock or low stock.
Additionally, this tool would ideally be something that could be applied to a bi weekly inventory check without erasing previous data entered. We do like to keep history of the order patterns to track the flow of ordering and usage for each item.
We currently have 100+ items that would need to be imported and each have their own minimums.
Currently the inventory sheet looks like this sample below:
Picture 1-
As referenced above, we have the three locations (Menchaca/OHill/Amill) listed as separate sheets. Next, in pink you can see the items listed with their minimum par indicated just next to it. The light blue horizontal row indicates the date so we can reference previous inventory checks and underneath in the green horizontal row indicates the columns we currently use to track inventory levels (have/need/ordered). The Need column would ideally auto generate as we input the Have # for each item in stock. We understand the format may change but this is the goal to have inventory more automated to reflect what item needs redordering..
See test table below:

Currently, the test table above does not support the bi-weekly tracking that would be ideal to have as well.
