JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
I’m looking for a skilled Content Manager and Video Editor who can transform the raw videos I record into polished, engaging short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.

You will be responsible for adding B-roll, stock clips, music, transitions, captions, and visuals that elevate the storytelling. Once approved, you will handle scheduling, posting, and responding to comments/messages using templates I provide.

This role is ideal for someone who understands attention-driven editing, trending audio, and high-quality daily social content.

Responsibilities

Video Editing & B-Roll Creation
• Edit all raw videos I provide into polished short-form content.
• Add B-roll, stock footage, photos, overlays, transitions, reaction clips, and captions.
• Select trending sounds when appropriate.
• Maintain consistent brand identity across:
• Stay Soulful (Airbnb & real estate)
• Clean the Block (nonprofit)
• Unspoken Game (financial literacy)

Content Scheduling & Posting
• Schedule approved content on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Ensure captions, hashtags, descriptions, and cover images match the approved content.
• Maintain an organized posting calendar.

Audience Engagement
• Respond to comments with approved scripts or links (e.g., booking pages, guides, websites).
• Notify me of high-intent followers or strong engagement opportunities.

Collaboration & Workflow
• Work directly with me for drafts, revisions, and approvals.
• Keep all content organized in Google Drive or Dropbox.
• Stay updated on trending formats, viral editing styles, and TikTok/IG audio trends.

Qualifications
• Strong background in short-form editing for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
• Ability to creatively incorporate B-roll and dynamic visuals into videos.
• Understanding of trending sounds and modern editing styles.
• Experience managing or scheduling content for social accounts.
• Strong written English for responding to comments and messages.
• Great organizational skills and ability to work with deadlines.

3. Agreement to complete a test edit using raw content I provide, so I can evaluate your editing style, judgment, and creativity.

Work Hours

25–30 hours per week to start, with potential to increase to 40 hours.
