We are looking for a YouTube thumbnail designer who can create clean, modern, high-performing thumbnails across different styles. This role begins gig-based with 1-3 thumbnails per week, but is intended to become a long-term position for someone who wants stability, ongoing work, and the opportunity to grow within the team.
The position starts at $10–$12 per hour (USD), or $20-$50 per thumbnail depending on style, and your experience, speed, and quality.
Reliability, consistent delivery, and strong communication are important.

Your main responsibility will be creating YouTube thumbnails for one client to start, with the potential to take on additional clients as we grow. Long-term opportunities may include supporting the business with broader graphic design tasks and helping guide brand visuals if that aligns with your skill set.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create high-quality YouTube thumbnails across multiple styles
Produce balanced layouts, and clear visual messaging
Follow brand guidelines and reference styles
Deliver thumbnails on schedule according to monthly content output
Communicate clearly and respond to feedback promptly
Maintain consistency and quality across all thumbnail assets
What We’re Looking For:
Experience creating YouTube thumbnails
Strong skills in cutouts, composition, color, and typography
Ability to follow detailed references and recreate proven styles
Reliable, consistent, and detail-oriented work
A growth mindset and interest in long-term collaboration
Bonus Points If You Also Have:
Experience with podcast-style, business-focused, or lifestyle/entertainment thumbnails
General graphic design experience (logos, banners, social graphics, etc.)
Understanding of performance-driven thumbnail strategies
Strong image retouching or color grading abilities
Creative direction or content research experience
