About Sigil
Sigil Entertainment Group is a tabletop RPG and genre media studio. We create books, campaigns, stock art, and marketing assets for our in-house brands and for publishing partners. We work fast, stay organized, and deliver production-ready files for print and digital.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor / Motion Graphics Artist to create trailers, reels, and promo videos for TTRPG books, Kickstarter campaigns, podcasts, and social media. You will turn existing art, layouts, and text into tight, punchy video pieces that sell the product and fit each platform.
Key Responsibilities
Edit short and mid-form video content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
Design and animate motion graphics and comics, lower thirds, logo stings, and text overlays
Cut and refine trailers and sizzle reels for books, campaigns, and crowdfunding launches
Create simple animated explainers or feature highlights using existing art and assets
Add basic sound design and music to support pacing and mood
Optimize aspect ratios, runtimes, and exports for different platforms and specs
Organize project files and follow Sigil naming and delivery standards
Collaborate with creative director, art directors, and marketing to refine concepts and scripts
Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience as a video editor with a strong motion graphics portfolio, motion comics are a plus
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent tools)
Ability to work with layered PSDs, vector art, and high-resolution stills
Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling
Experience creating content for at least two of these: YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok,
Comfortable working with minimal supervision and hitting deadlines
Good written English and clear communication
Nice to Have
Interest in tabletop RPGs, comics, or genre entertainment
Experience cutting Kickstarter or crowdfunding videos
Experience with basic audio cleanup and mixing
Familiarity with Photoshop, or Illustrator
Ability to create simple storyboards or animatics from a script
