Schedule:
• Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm AEST
• 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership -
• Maintain modern, compliant HR policies and frameworks
• Build competency frameworks, performance systems, and scalable HR processes
• Provide practical HR guidance aligned with organisational values
- Recruitment & Workforce Planning -
• Oversee recruitment cycles, advertising strategies, interviewing standards, and onboarding
• Upskill team leaders to interview and manage talent effectively
- Performance, Culture & Retention -
• Drive performance excellence through supportive, coaching-based HR practices
• Develop retention pathways for high performers and improvement plans for lower performers
• Support performance conversations, feedback interventions, and grievance management
- Compliance & Governance -
• Maintain HR compliance across legislation, internal standards, and sector requirements (including NDIS)
• Support audits, risk reviews, and documentation accuracy
- Employee Experience & Wellbeing -
• Strengthen connection and belonging across remote teams
• Facilitate engagement, recognition initiatives, and wellbeing pathways (including EAP linkage)
- HR Systems & Process Improvement -
• Enhance systems such as Employment Hero, Xero, LMS
• Streamline workflows with process maps, templates, and toolkits to build capability
- Learning & Development -
• Identify capability needs and shape internal training content for leaders and staff
• Maintain and refresh LMS modules and induction materials
- Communications & Engagement -
• Support internal communication, employer branding, and social presence
• Contribute to
- Crisis & Issue Management -
• Provide steady HR support during escalations, staff issues, or operational disruptions
• Partner with leadership for fair, constructive, solution-driven outcomes
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years HR experience (Australian HR experience preferred; NDIS experience ideal)
• Strong capability in recruitment, performance management, coaching, and leadership partnering
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Values-driven, low-ego, solutions-focused approach
• Comfortable operating in remote, fast-paced, contractor-heavy environments
