Position Overview:
We are seeking a tech-savvy and research-driven AI Specialist to join our growing immigration law firm. This role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and implementing effective AI tools that enhance operational efficiency, improve workflows, and support both legal and administrative functions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of AI technologies, automation platforms, and legal tech tools, and can translate those into practical, impactful solutions for our remote-work environment.
Other Skills / Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Legal Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience in researching and implementing AI tools or automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Notion AI, ChatGPT, etc.).
• Familiarity with legal operations or law firm processes is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
Duties:
• AI Tools Research & Evaluation:
Conduct research to identify AI-driven solutions (e.g., for document review, scheduling, automation, client communication, etc.) that fit the specific needs of an immigration law practice.
• Implementation Support:
Assist in testing and onboarding selected tools, ensuring smooth integration into existing workflows.
• Process Improvement:
Collaborate with team leaders to map out inefficiencies and recommend AI solutions that improve speed, accuracy, and productivity.
• Training & Documentation:
Create basic training guides and assist with internal rollouts to help tea
• Trend Monitoring:
Stay up-to-date with legal tech innovations, AI regulations, and industry trends to keep the firm competitive and compliant.
• Vendor Coordination:
Liaise with AI tool providers for demos, trials, and troubleshooting.
