Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, experienced, and highly motivated Business Development Manager / Executive to join our growing team. This role is fully remote, but you will work closely with our Edmonton-based leadership team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software / SaaS sales, enterprise business development, and building long-term client relationships.
This is a senior role requiring someone who can create and execute sales strategies, open doors, build pipelines, and close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for OneZero’s software products.
Generate qualified leads, manage pipelines, and drive end-to-end sales cycles.
Present product demos, proposals, and customized solutions to clients.
Build strong relationships with enterprise clients, school districts, government, and private sector organizations.
Identify new market opportunities and contribute to product-market fit and service enhancements.
Work closely with leadership on pricing, proposals, and contract negotiations.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, KPIs, and forecasting.
Represent the company in meetings, online conferences, and industry events.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in software/SaaS sales or enterprise business development.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong experience selling B2B technology solutions to mid-size or enterprise-level clients.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while hitting deadlines and targets.
CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) required.
Experience in ERP, case management solutions, or workflow automation is an asset.
Understanding of business process, governance, and IT integrations is an advantage.
