Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Estimator with deep experience in Measure Square Stone & Plan Swift. This role leads the takeoff and estimating process from plan review through final quantity validation, ensuring every project estimate meets AL13’s accuracy, efficiency, and formatting standards.
You’ll collaborate closely with our lead estimator, sales, and project management teams to review project scopes, manage takeoff accuracy, and guide continuous improvement across our estimating workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Lead quantity takeoffs and material estimates using PlanSwift, ensuring consistency and precision.
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for large-scale architectural projects, such as high-rises, commercial towers, educational facilities, healthcare institutions, and other complex building types.
Review architectural drawings, details, and specifications to confirm project scope and requirements.
Develop and manage accurate material quantities aligned with AL13 standards.
Coordinate with the lead estimator to review estimates, confirm assumptions, and identify risks or opportunities.
Submit completed takeoffs by 2:00 PM Pacific Time (PT), ensuring alignment with project schedules.
Required Qualifications:
Plan Swift expertise (mandatory): active account with minimum 3 years of advanced, hands-on experience performing takeoffs for construction or façade systems.
Measure Square Stone Experiance.
5+ years experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or architectural drafting.
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
Degree or diploma in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Work Schedule:
Full-time contract position.
Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day.
Must be available to meet daily submission deadlines by 2:00 PM PT (early morning PHT).
